Description
Vinyamar was a city of the High Elves founded by Turgon and his followers after their return to Middle-earth at the beginning of the First Age. It lay beneath Mount Taras in Nevrast, and was inhabited for only about a century, after which Turgon and his people deserted it for Gondolin.
