Elves in Andunie

Andúnië was an important city and port in the realm of Númenor, located on the Bay of Andúnië on the western end of the island. the name Andúnië means "sunset" in Quenya. Lord of Andúnië was a title of the lords of the shoreland region of Andúnië; descended from Tar-Elendil, the fourth King of Númenor, and ancestors of the Kings of Gondor and of Arnor.
Though not the capital, Andúnië was initially the largest city of Númenor because the Elves of Tol Eressëa would often visit the haven. King Tar-Minastir built a high tower on a hill called Oromet near Andúnië, where he could spend many days gazing westward to Tol Eressëa.

Here you can see an elven ship which just arrived to the port, and the Lord of Andúnië (accompanied by two Númenorean ladies) is welcoming the elf captian.
